The East Surrey election results have now been announced. For the two divisions affecting Oxshott the four elected councillors are:
Esher Claygate and Oxshott North:
Andy Burton- LibDem- one of our current Surrey councillors
Alex Coomes- LibDem- a current Elmbridge councillor
Cobham and Oxshott South
David Lewis-Conservative-one of our current Surrey councillors
Alan Parker-Conservative-one of our current Elmbridge councillors
Our congratulations to the successful candidates and we look forward to working with them over the next five years on behalf of Oxshott residents.
As a reminder, the next year will be a period of transition and East Surrey will take full control in April 2027. For East Surrey the LibDems have won 40 of the 72 seats and so have effective control as a party. LibDems have also won control of the new West Surrey. Authority.
